Requests to Make From Your Congresspersons

We suggest you make the following requests of your representative:

1. on the issue of the war in Iraq, bring all the troops and contractors home from Iraq; stop funding the war; and create a peace plan for Iraq that involves American dollars for reconstruction and peacekeeping but not American or Coalition troops' lives;
2. on the issue of civil rights, repeal the Military Commissions Act of 2006; and
3. on the issue of the rule of law and accountability for our leaders, impeach Cheney and Bush by cosponsoring and speaking plainly in support of impeachment resolutions.
